我們團隊將校園內的樹木資訊記錄下來。我們收集他們的照片及分布位置，並建置供學生辨識樹種的線上開放地圖，使其擺脫受曖昧的描述和沉重的檢索資料困擾的鑑定工作，能輕鬆地了解和辨別校園植物而更加親近他們。
Our organization record information of trees within part of campus. We collect their photos, their locations, and build an online map for students to learn their name without confusing descriptions and heavy indexes.

Who We Are
「陽明大學樹木地圖」樹種指南 是 台灣 陽明大學 學生於課程計畫中建立的公開資料庫。自2016年11月起建立起，本資料庫收集校園各樹木的圖像資料，並將之與其地理位置整合。我們期祈能有助於校友及鄰近居民學習本校園植物群集和生態環境的效率和成效，並提供學生一個深入體會校園之美的管道。
Tree Compass is a course project and open database at National Yang-Ming University, in Taiwan. Since our founding in November 2016, TC has collected a bunch of photos and associated locations about the trees in the university. We aim to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning on ecology and plant community at school, and provide a way for students to understand their university deeper.

我們提供學生嶄新的平台來學習植物辨識及調查植物群集特性。我們秉持著更完善方便的資源分享的理念，期祈能結合GIS系統讓使用者能更自由地編輯和分享，還能擴充本資料庫，納入蕨類及草本植物等物種的名錄和位置。我們熱切盼望擁有資訊工程及植物系統分類學等專長的人們及志工加入！
We offer students a brand new surface to learn plant identification and tree community inside the school. We expect to integrate it with GIS system, allowed user to edit and share, and to collect more species of ferns or grass to expand the database. We are desperate to invite any specialists having knowledge about Information Engineering, GIS, and plant systematic. Any volunteer is welcome, too.
